Swingy Mountain
Make it to the top of the mountain first!
Made in 48 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2018 (with the theme, “genre without mechanic”), Swingy Mountain offers a simple competitive local-multiplayer game that isn’t all that competitive - at least not until the final stretch!
Players are attached together by a rope. With one player holding on, the other can swing to dodge incoming icicles and increase in height. Use this mechanic to ensure that your partner survives; without a pivot point, you’ll have a far tougher time of dodging those icicles yourself (or maybe you’re just a nice person!). That said, only the first player to reach the top of the mountain will be victorious!
Thanks for playing!
